Nepal holds an international airport in Kathmandu, the capital. However, the region is served by only a handful of international destinations like India, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Kuala Lampur and Dubai.

If you are not of Indian or Nepal origin, this option is not open for you. On the southern side of Nepal, Sirsiya is a small region, which is connected with India via rail. Cargo and travel trains run between Sirsiya and Raxaul (a town in India) every day. However, only Indians and Nepalisare allowed to board the train.

Buses are available for reaching Nepal from India alone. You can find direct buses to Nepal from Varanasi, Patna, Darjeeling, Delhi, Lucknow and others. Through buses, you can reach numerous destinations of Nepal, based on the service provider. However, it is best to reach Kathmandu, as you can find numerous facilities in this region.
